Meeting Minutes for April 27, 2006
Present at the Meeting:
Bob Griffin, Joe Wiehe, Jim Owens
Topics Discussed:
· Reviewed meeting minutes from March 23, 2006.
· Linda Owens completed signboard painting.
· Andy Lyon’s Eagle project completed.
· James Owens’ Eagle project (Hiking trails).
o James Owens completed trail map. Again helpful at meeting and soon to be posted on signboard and Evendale website.
o Joe Wiehe to order new signage designed by James Owens.
o Joe Wiehe to finish running loader through new trail route when it dries up a bit.
o James to continue cleaning up trails and planting grass seed.
· James Owens planted trial patch of prairie grass (big bluestem) in N/E corner of meadow.
· Service department said that no additional wildflower seeds will be planted at this time.
· Service department cleaned out pond overflow and sealed discharge piping. They plan to fill in discharge pipe headwall with dirt and stone.
Action Items:
· Service department to continue working James Owens creek trail with James.
· Service Department to also work on:
1. Add large gravel to creek upstream of headwall.
2. Add drainage along north side of pond trail and in wildflower field to drain into creek on south side of headwall when drier, probably not till June.
3. Gravel on trails where needed, probably will be done with Gorman trail project.
